New Program for 2021

daffodil-shortage-mild-weather-155108461

The delightful  sight of daffodils reminds us of the joy or nature and nudges us to get in the garden!

Encouraged by the optimism of the government, we are hoping to put a modest programme together for 2021;

Firstly a plant sale on Saturday May 29th outside the village hall. PLEASE start potting up cuttings for us - further details nearer the time.

We would like to celebrate June 21st -FREEDOM DAY - with a village garden trail at the end of June or early July. If you are willing to offer a peep at your garden please contact Jane Stillwell (737517 or janestillwell@mw.com) or Sue Glasson (07803 167813 or merrymoons@me.com).

Janet Wilkinson has offered to run a 3 hour botanical painting workshop at a cost of £25 in August.  If you are interested please contact us so we can fix a date.

Finally we have re-booked our 2020 speakers.  Val Bourne will talk to us on Monday, September 6th and Timothy Walker on Monday, 11th October.

Let’s hope the covid plan has worked.

We will waive subs for 2021 for those who paid in 2020. Can anyone who didn’t pay, put their hand up please…If the plant sale raises a good sum the speaker events will also be free, apart from guests. If the plant sale results are poor, then we will have ask for a small contribution.
